I am a blacksmith cutler, installed
in a very small village right in the middle of the Corsican mountains. My native languages are Corsica and French. This page thus is particularly intended to
the nonFrench-speaking visitors.
In order to make my site more readable my site, I
try on this web page to detail several headings
- Coup de coeur: some of my last creations, for which I had a true
blow of
heart!
- Couteaux traditionnels: the corsican traditional knives such as they
were manufactured for centuries and that I endeavoured to reproduce as
accurately as possible.
- Couteaux pliants: folding blade knives.
- Couteaux ΰ lame fixe: kitchen, hunting knifes, excursion.
- Etuis en cuir: examples of cases, made by my wife.
All the pictures presented in
these pages are accompanied by a small comments, which explain the nature of the
knifes and how to handle them. It was unfortunately not possible for me to translate
all those comments, and I apologize for it. One the other hand, I hope that the
photographs will speak about itself
Associated to each page an appendix appears
which explains my work a litlle. It is written in French, but I really hope that
one day, I will be able to translate it. In the same way, in the banner page, a button invites you to visit the forging mill (primarily
by pictures)
At the bottom of each page five
headings appear:

- Signer le Bouc d'Or: to sign the guest book
- Sites amis: the sites for which I really have some affection
- "Mes amis couteliers" : another hand knive makers, who are also friends of mine !
In spite of the barrier of the language, from which I
